Destinations Covered : Bagdogra/NJP - Darjeeling - Pelling - Yuksum - Bakhim - Gangtok - Kalimpong
Day 01: Bagdogra/NJP - Darjeeling
You would be received by our envoy on your arrival at the NJP airport or railway station and then would be driven over to Darjeeling where you would be checked in a hotel to retire for the night.
Day 02: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Breakfast at the hotel would be followed by a drive to Pelling. In the afternoon an excursion to Sango-Choeling Monastery would be made. En route you can view the butterflies at leisure. To call it a day you would finally retire at the hotel.
Day 03: Darjeeling - Pelling
Breakfast at the hotel would be followed by a drive to Pelling. In the afternoon an excursion to Sango-Choeling Monastery would be made. En route you can view the butterflies at leisure. To call it a day you would finally retire at the hotel.
Day 04: Pelling - Yuksum - Bakhim
After an early breakfast in the hotel a drive to Yuksum would ensue. From here a walking excursion to Bakhim (12 km) located at 3005m would follow. Bakhim is immensely rich in Himalayan fauna and is covered with alpine plants and Sikkim's famous orchids. The region is also known to have a rich variety of avian population and butterflies. The night would be spent at Bakhim adventurously in trekker's camp under open skies.
Day 05: Bakhim - Yuksum
Breakfast at the camp would be followed by morning butterfly watching in Bakhim. Later in the day trek downhill to Yuksum would take place. The night would be spent at a hotel in Yuksum.
Day 06: Yuksum - Gangtok
After the breakfast at the hotel a drive to Gangtok would ensue. The afternoon would be utilized in visiting the beautiful Orchid farms. To call it a day one would return to the hotel in Gangtok.
Day 07: Gangtok - Kalimpong
Breakfast at the hotel would be followed by a scenic drive to Kalimpong. Afternoon would be spent in the visit to orchid farms and nurseries. The night would be spent at the hotel in Gangtok.
Day 08: Kalimpong Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel a full day trip to Lava for butterfly watching would follow. Evening would be spent in slide show of orchids and a lecture on orchid farming. One would be returning to the hotel to retire for the night.
Day 09: Kalimpong - Bagdogra/NJP
Breakfast at the hotel would be followed by proceeding for Bagdogra airport/NJP railway station in time for flight/train to onward destination.
