Destinations Covered : Bagdogra/NJP - Darjeeling - Pemayangste - Gangtok - Kalimpong
Day 01: Bagdogra/NJP -Darjeeling
After your arrival at NJP our representative would be present at the airport or railway station to receive you and from there you would be driven to Darjeeling. En route you would be visiting the Sonada Monastery. The evening would be left free for independent activities. Finally you would retire for the night at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 02: Darjeeling Sightseeing
In the early hours of the morning a visit to Tiger hills would ensue to get a view of the spectacular sunrise followed by a visit to the Ghoom Monastery and Dali Monastery. After breakfast a visit to the Japanese Temple and Tamong Monastery is planned. In the afternoon you would be visiting the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaju Naidu Zoo and Tibetian Refugee Self Help Centre. To call it a day one would finally retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 03: Darjeeling - Pemayangste
After the breakfast at the hotel a drive to Pemayangste would follow where in the afternoon you would visit the Pemayangste Monastery. The night would be spent at a hotel in Pemayangste.
Day 04: Pemayangste - Gangtok
The breakfast at the hotel would be followed by a walking excursion to Sanga-Cheoling Monastery. Afternoon would be spent in a drive to Gangtok en route a visit to Bon Monastery at Kewsing would be made. To call it a day the night would be spent at a hotel in Gangtok.
Day 05: Gangtok Sightseeing
After the breakfast at the hotel the morning would be spent by visiting the Rumtek Monastery followed by halting at Namgayal Institute of Tibetology and Do Drul Chorten. The late afternoon would be used in visiting Enchay Monastery and taking a city tour. Finally at the hotel you would retire for the night.
Day 06: Gangtok - Kalimpong
The breakfast at the hotel would be followed by an excursion to Phudong Moanastery (38 kms / 1.5 hour approximate drive). The afternoon would be spent in enjoying the scenic drive to Kalimpong. Here a visit to Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang Monastery would follow. To retire for the night you would check into a hotel in Kalimpong.
Day 07: Kalimpong - Bagdogra/NJP
After the breakfast half a day would be spent in a city tour of Kalimpong which would be followed by a journey back to Bagdogra airport or railway station to board a flight or train in time for onward destination.
