Destinations Covered : Srinagar - Gulmarg - Sonamarg - Pahalgam
Day 01: Arrival at Srinagar
Our representatives will meet you at the Srinagar airport on your arrival. Thereafter, you will be escorted to the houseboat. After resting in the afternoon you will spend the evening on a shikara ride on the scenic Dal Lake and enjoy the sunset. For the night, you will retire to the houseboat.
Day 02: Srinagar sightseeing
The famous Mughal Gardens, including the Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, will play your host for the first half of the day. After having lunch at the houseboat, you will leave for a shikara ride on the charming Dal Lake, often compared to Venice. The night stay will be at the houseboat.
Day 03: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar
A tour of Gulmarg will keep you occupied throughout the day. It is one of the most splendid summer resorts in the valley, boasting of the highest golf course in the world. The resort is quite popular for golf (in summers) and skiing (in winters). After enjoying the beauty of the landscape, with the snowy clad mountains serving as the backdrop, you can also take Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. You will return to Srinagar in the evening and stay at the houseboat for the night.
Day 04: Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar
After having breakfast, you will leave for Sonamarg, the Gateway to Ladakh. It is a delightful and pleasing drive from Srinagar, where you will stop on the way to admire the scenery. You can also take a horse ride to visit the Thajiwas Glacier, covered in snow throughout the year. By evening, you will be back in Srinagar and thereafter, retire to your houseboat.
Day 05: Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar
The whole day will be spent in an excursion tour to Pahalgam. Known as the vale of Kashmir, it is situated at a height of 2440 m. Enroute, you will be stopping for a visit to Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and Anantnag sulpher spring. The picturesque Pahalgam is a quite popular location for the Indian film industry. After enjoying the natural beauty of the place, you will leave for Srinagar. By the evening, you will return back to the houseboat and retire for the night.
Day 06: Srinagar Sightseeing
The morning will start with a visit to the revered Shankracharya temple (a Lord Shiva temple). Apart from being a sacred shrine, the temple also offers a splendid view of the Srinagar City and its lakes. The night stay will be at the houseboat.
Day 07: Srinagar
The morning will be free to spend at leisure. In the afternoon, you will move to the Srinagar airport for a flight to your destination.
